Description of Service
Shroudly provides AI-powered document processing tools including redaction, OCR (Optical Character Recognition), and file conversion services. The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without notice.
User Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) upload, transmit, or process content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates any third party's rights; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems; (c) use automated means to access the Service without our express written permission; (d) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service; (e) use the Service for any fraudulent or malicious purpose.
Data Processing and Privacy
When you upload files for processing, the data is transmitted securely and processed by our AI pipeline. Processed files are stored temporarily in secure cloud storage and are accessible to you via time-limited links. We do not permanently retain the content of your processed documents. Credits and Billing
The Service operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when jobs are processed. Failed jobs may or may not consume credits depending on the failure stage. Credits are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Shroudly and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Shroudly a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shroudly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Shroudly in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Shroudly does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. AI-generated outputs may contain errors and should be reviewed before relying on them.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the Service, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.
